Constelia shares no personal data and does not keep it on servers; the only exception is the brief processing when you buy a PDF horoscope (see below). It contains no ads, tracking or analytics and needs no sign-up.

Data on your device

The data you enter (names, birth dates, times and places, settings) is stored only on your device, the charts are calculated there, and everything is deleted when you uninstall the app.

Birth place search

When you search for a birth place, the app sends the beginning of the place name you type and the app language to our server (api.constelia.net, run on Cloudflare), which passes it to the GeoNames service (geonames.org) to find matching places. Nothing that identifies you is sent with it and we do not store the searches. Answers for the same place names are briefly cached for speed, unlinked to anyone.

Buying a PDF horoscope

When you buy a PDF horoscope, the app sends once, encrypted (HTTPS), to our server (pdf.constelia.net, reached through Cloudflare) the names and the birth dates, times and places of the people the horoscope is for, together with the horoscope options. The server uses them only to create the PDF and deletes them as soon as it has been delivered; we do not keep the PDF on the server. We keep only a pseudonymised record of the purchase for up to 30 days: irreversible fingerprints (hashes) of the purchase and the order, with no names or birth data in readable form, so that one payment cannot be used twice and you can download the PDF again within 14 days. Payment is handled by Google Play; we never see your card details.

Recommending the app

If you use “Recommend the app to friends”, the app passes only an invitation text with a link to the Constelia website to the app you choose (for example e-mail or chat).
